Where will our state workshop be held?

Where will our state workshop be held?
  This is the most urgent question we need answered by you as local leaders….and we want you to choose the site!  We need this site selection completed as soon as possible so that we can coordinate the necessary contracts and reservations for the event.  Please complete the Site Location form and return it as quickly as possible.
What else do we need to do as a local lead agency?
 

Obtain the addresses for those you wish to invite and determine the preferred method of getting the invitations to the various groups.  Remember, you need fire chief databases, building official databases, fire marshal databases, and elected official (city and county mayor and/or city managers) databases. Once you obtain these, you are ready to decide how to get the invitations to them (USPS or electronic email).

How do I receive the necessary postage to mail our invitations?
 

Fill out the Supply Order Form, located in the Documents section at the top of this page.  We will send you everything that you need.

Do attendees from our lead agency need to register?
  Yes, attendees from the lead agency need to follow the same registration process as general attendees.  This allows us to accurately track the total number of rooms and materials needed.
Can I modify the Power Point presentation to use at various events to promote FTUSA?
  Absolutely!  We encourage you to use the PowerPoint template that is included on your state leader CD-ROM.  Customize it as you wish and help promote and spread the word about Fire Team USA!
Do I have to make nametags and duplicate materials for the workshop?
  No, because the registration process is handled through our Fire Team USA website, we take care of that for you!  We will arrive on site with all necessary handouts, workbooks, nametags, and conference supplies.  Your role is in getting the word out and distribution of invitations. We thank you in advance for this IMPORTANT role.
What about press releases and logo reproduction?
 

Included on your state leader CD-ROM is a press release and a high resolution jpeg image of the official Fire Team USA logo. Feel free to use this, along with the one page flyer and invitation (in MS Word) document.

Will Continuing Education Units / Credits be offered?
 

Just send us an email detailing what your state requires from us.  Each state is different, so we will need you to handle the submission of information in your state.  We have the agenda, descriptions of the various topics and bios for all presenters available upon your request.
