This video demonstrates the ability of a residential sprinkler to control a fire in the early stages, keeping it from spreading throughout a structure.

As the fire races up the curtains, the temperature at the ceiling rises, causing the sprinkler head to activate.  In seconds, the fire is extinguished.

This demonstration was conducted during the FTUSA Colorado event, and is a part of every FTUSA conference.
